Healthy Living with MCI
The Healthy Living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) series is a support and education program about brain health and living well with MCI. Classes offer attendees guidance and science-backed strategies for living and coping with memory and thinking changes. Nathaniel Chin, MD, is the medical director and host of the series. Participation is free, open to all and available to attend at a host site or online via Zoom. Recordings of past events can also be found on the Wisconsin ADRC YouTube page.

Prevention Strategies
Alzheimer’s disease affects people across economic, educational, social, racial, and gender lines. Age is the greatest risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease, but who and when it strikes is unpredictable. Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, placing a lot of importance on Alzheimer’s disease prevention. Scientists have found evidence that some lifestyle changes can delay the onset or lower risk for the disease.
